What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a regular link with a tracking code attached. If you click through and buy something, the merchant pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.

Dog Advice Hub is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Our Amazon Associates tag is dogadvicehub-20. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
We use the AzonPress plugin to display Amazon product information (titles, images, ratings) using the Amazon Product Advertising API. Prices and availability shown reflect Amazon’s data at the time the page was rendered and may not be current; always check the price on Amazon before buying.
How we choose what to recommend
Affiliate income does not change what we recommend. We pick products we’d buy for our own dogs, books we’d lend to a friend, and tools we’d actually use. If a product has a problem, we say so — even if we earn a commission on it. Honest opinions are the entire reason this site exists.
We also do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or “send us your product and we’ll feature it” arrangements. Every product mentioned earned its spot on its merits.
